HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKAO USUI SENSEI !
Mikao Usui (Japanese: 臼井 甕男, Usui Mikao; August 15, 1865 – March 9, 1926) was the founder of the spiritual practice of Reiki.
He is called a spiritual teacher, and he dedicated himself to the spiritual goal of teaching others how to achieve peace within the soul in order to discover happiness.
Usui Sensei believed that physical illnesses have their roots in the soul.
Therefore, his view was that one should first heal the spirit and consciousness, and then the body would become healthy as well.
