As you can read in the group description this group is meant to unite those following the spiritual path called Usui Reiki Ryōhō (URR) and those interested in Usui-sensei's original spiritual teachings or Reiki history in general.
Usui Reiki Ryoho is the original Japanese style Reiki. Usui Reiki Ryoho (URR) is a mystical path. This facebook group is open to followers of this spiritual path and to everyone interested in Mikao Usui's original teachings and Reiki history in general.
Please be aware of the difference between the popular Usui Shiki Ryoho branch, the Western or Takata style, and Usui Reiki Ryōhō, the more original Japanese style - this group is primarily for the latter.
Usui Reiki Ryoho is a spiritual path that aims for happiness, harmony and spiritual development. Attaining spiritual enlightenment is its ultimate goal.
Hands-on healing is -not- its focus.
In the Western styles of Reiki hands-on healing generally is the focus of the teachings, but within Usui Reiki Ryoho it's seen as more of a side effect of a student's spiritual development. Meditation is at the core of URR.
The spiritual teachings of URR are usually divided into three levels at which a student can learn: Shoden, Okuden and Shinpiden. It usualy takes years to master these levels.
Traditionally a teacher is called Shihan in Japan. However, in most versions of URR taught in the West the term Shihan is not used.
Posts in this group should be related to these topics (URR/Usui-sensei's original spiritual teachings/Reiki history) and your own experiences on this spiritual path.
Perhaps some dos and don'ts make it even clearer.
Do:

- share personal spiritual experience(s)
- share links to articles about URR, Usui-sensei's teachings, Reiki history

None of these don'ts are really bad in itself - it is just to keep this group clean, clear and accessible. There are already so many groups where you can post about other branches, where you can promote courses or post healing requests. This group is just not the place to be for those subjects.
